This workshop guides you through the essentials of starting your social media journey including shaping your bio, crafting that first post, using Instagram’s tools, and learning why small, consistent actions beat perfection every time. You’ll leave with a simple strategy built around taking action and getting your reps.
Bio:
Gerard Durling is an entrepreneur, producer, and creative strategist based in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. He is the founder and Chief Creative Officer of Coal Creative, a full-service marketing and video production agency known for helping brands tell meaningful stories. Gerard also owns Independent Wrestling TV (IWTV), a leading streaming platform dedicated to showcasing independent wrestling to fans around the world.
Beyond his work in marketing and media, Gerard is the creator and puppeteer behind Coach Brick Headstrong, a character that blends humor, fitness, and education to inspire families and kids. Through Coach Brick, Gerard develops content, programs, and live experiences designed to make movement fun and accessible for all ages.
His philanthropic initiative, Operation Headstrong, expands this mission even further by delivering free health and fitness activity books to elementary schools throughout Northeastern Pennsylvania. The project supports early education, community wellness, and creative learning through engaging, character-driven materials.
