JUST DO IT! STARTING THE CONVERSATION ABOUT YOUR WORK
Tuesday, October 13 | 8:00PM ET | Live via Zoom | FREE
Stop waiting for the perfect pitch. Start the conversation.
You've made something. Maybe it's a show, a puppet, a project still taking shape in your studio. But when someone asks "So what do you do?" the words get stuck, or you undersell it, or you change the subject.
You're not alone. Most artists are trained to make the work, not to talk about it. And yet every booking, collaboration, grant, and opportunity starts with a conversation.
This free live workshop is your push to start that conversation now, not someday.
In one hour together, you'll:
- Get clear on how to describe your work in plain, confident language
- Practice talking about your work out loud in a supportive space
- Learn how to open conversations with presenters, collaborators, and funders without feeling salesy
- Walk away with a first draft of how you introduce your work, ready to use this week
Who it's for: Puppet artists, theatermakers, visual artists, and performing artists at any stage who know their work matters and are ready to start telling people about it.
Bring your work, your questions, and a little courage. We'll take it from there.
